The musicians have great experience from differing crossover and inter-continental projects at the same time that each has deep roots in either Norwegian or Arabic traditional music. During the interplay between the musicians, a special vibe creates the inspiration to produce brand new music, where the sound of folk music instruments transforms into more urban sound images. And it’s amazing to discover not only the differences between the Norwegian and Palestinian expression, but I think that we often recognise similarities.
